Talk to a Licensed, Insured, and Bonded Plumbing Contractor With Over 20 Years of Experience.
Licensed, insured, and bonded Arizona plumbing contractor clearing drains across Northern Arizona. We clear the line with tools rather than caustic chemicals, camera it so you see the cause, and explain what keeps it from coming back.
Here is a simple way to read your plumbing. One slow sink means the clog is nearby. Two slow fixtures on the same side of the house mean the clog is further back, in the shared pipe. Every drain running slowly means the main line is clogged, which is a bigger job and costs more.
Figuring out which problem you have is most of the work and takes ten minutes with the right tools. At Fiscor Plumbing and Air, we have cleared drains across Northern Arizona since 2017, backed by more than 20 years in the trade.
We choose the tool that fits the clog instead of using the same one every time. Here is what that covers:
Every visit ends with an explanation of what caused the blockage and what keeps it from returning.
This is the part people forget, and it changes what you should be putting down the sink.
Plenty of homes in Northern Arizona are not on a city sewer at all. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality reports more than 600,000 onsite wastewater systems in the state, serving properties without sewer connections, with permitting delegated to each of the 15 counties. Across rural Yavapai and Coconino counties, that describes many houses.
On a septic system, everything you rinse down a drain ends up in a tank and drain field on your property. Grease, harsh cleaners, and anything that kills the bacteria in that tank do not disappear downstream. They shorten the life of a system that costs thousands to replace.
That is why we clear drains with tools rather than chemicals, and ask whether you are on a sewer or septic system before starting.
Michael Chavez had a sink problem cleared quickly, along with advice to keep it from happening again.
“Mikey Colclasure was terrific! Very knowledgeable and fixed our sink issue quickly. He also gave us some advice to prevent the issue in the future. A job well done! Thanks!”
The sink drained properly before Mikey left, and it has stayed that way. Clearing once instead of every season is the point of making a drain call properly. Read Michael’s full Google review.
Julien Kinsale had multiple plumbing issues in his home, and when he worked with Fiscor, he appreciated the professionalism and quality of work.
“I had a surprisingly pleasant experience with this company, and the actual work has not started yet. Preston, the sales rep, gave me a clinic about the system. Therefore, I went into partnership with confidence. The job is finished; Robert and Diondre did a great job. I am now a part of the family. You made me smile today.”
Robert and Diondre finished on schedule, and Julien has stayed with us since. Explaining the work before quoting turns one job into a long relationship. Read Julien’s full Google review.
Most people wait too long on a slow drain because it is easy to live with. The trouble is a partial blockage keeps damaging the pipe, and the repair only gets bigger. These are the signs worth acting on:
Any one of those is worth a phone call. Two or more usually mean the problem is in a shared line, not at the fixture, and a plunger will not reach it. We would rather look now than pull up flooring later.
A backed-up main line does not fix itself. Every hour it sits, more water soaks into places you cannot see. Stop running water, keep everyone out of the wet area, and call us.

A slow drain is cheap to fix and expensive to ignore. The gap between the two is usually a couple of weeks. We clear the line with tools, camera it so you see the cause, explain how to avoid a repeat, and charge the price you agreed to.
We look after the whole system, from sewer line repairs to inspections and maintenance, and perform hydro jetting as needed.
Why do my drains keep clogging even after they have been cleaned?
If the same drain backs up every few months, the clog is usually a symptom, not the problem. In Northern Arizona, we often find grease buildup in kitchen lines, tree roots in older sewer laterals, or hard water scale that narrows the pipe. A basic drain snake may temporarily restore flow but will not remove the buildup on the pipe walls. If a drain repeatedly clogs, a sewer camera inspection can identify the real cause so you avoid paying for the same repair repeatedly.
Can pine needles, monsoon storms, or tree roots cause drain problems in Northern Arizona?
Yes. Monsoon storms can wash debris into outdoor drains, while pine needles, leaves, and sediment often block landscape drainage around homes. Underground, tree roots seek moisture and often enter older sewer lines through small joints or cracks. Once inside, they trap toilet paper, grease, and other debris, causing recurring backups that usually require professional cleaning or hydro jetting.
Is hydro jetting worth it, or will a drain snake solve the problem?
It depends on what is inside the pipe. A drain snake is effective for breaking through a single blockage and restoring flow quickly. Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to clean the entire interior of the pipe, removing grease, soap residue, mineral deposits, and small root intrusions. For homes in Northern Arizona with recurring kitchen drain issues, older plumbing, or years of buildup, hydro jetting often provides a longer-lasting solution.
Does having a septic system change how my drains should be maintained?
Absolutely. Many homes in Northern Arizona rely on septic systems instead of municipal sewer service. Everything that goes down your drains reaches the septic tank, so grease, wipes, coffee grounds, and harsh chemical drain cleaners can reduce system performance and shorten the drain field life. Regular drain maintenance and proper disposal habits help protect an investment that can cost thousands to replace.
When is a clogged drain actually a sewer line problem?
If several fixtures back up at the same time, toilets gurgle when sinks drain, or sewage appears in a shower or floor drain, the blockage is often in the main sewer line rather than an individual drain. In Northern Arizona, root intrusion, shifting soil, and aging sewer pipes are common causes. We use sewer camera inspections to confirm what is happening before recommending repairs, so you know whether simple drain cleaning is enough or sewer line repair is the better solution.
